Responsible handling of research data is an essential part of good scientific practice. When conducting research, it is not always easy to keep track of your research data. But what does responsible research data management (RDM) actually mean?

The aim of this workshop is to familiarize participants with the most important concepts, requirements, and practices of research data management so that your research project can be conducted in a more organized and straightforward manner. In addition, there will be a brief insight into how AI systems can be used in research and what needs to be considered from a research data management perspective. We will also address the specific challenges of handling qualitative data and inform about options for archiving and reusing such data.

The content is relevant for researchers from all disciplinary backgrounds, not only researchers working with empirical data.  Presentations will be in English, but contributions in German are possible.
